Callum Rhodes financial journey

Callum Rhodes

Retail Manager, Melbourne

Joined our spring 2024 cohort with about ,000 in credit card debt and no real savings plan. "I kept thinking I'd figure it out on my own, but months turned into years," he told us during intake.

By December, he'd paid off ,200 of that debt and set up his first proper emergency fund. Not life-changing overnight stuff, but steady progress that built confidence.

Zara Patel financial transformation

Zara Patel

Freelance Designer, Sydney

Came to us in early 2024 with irregular income and zero financial structure. "I'd have good months and bad months, but no system to manage either," she explained during our first session.

Now she's got a buffer account that smooths out the income swings, and she actually knows what her business costs to run. Still freelancing, still has ups and downs, but with a safety net underneath.

How We Actually Structure Learning

We've taught this program 14 times now, and each round we learn something new about what works. Here's what a typical journey looks like, broken down by what you'll actually do.

Financial education classroom setting
1

Foundation Phase

First month is about getting honest with where you are. We map out your current situation without judgment. Track spending for 30 days, identify patterns you didn't know existed, and build your first realistic budget.

Most people discover they're spending on things they forgot about. Subscriptions, memberships, habits that crept in over time.

Key Learning: You can't fix what you can't see. Awareness always comes before change.
2

Building Systems

Months two through four focus on creating structures that work with your life, not against it. We set up automated savings, debt payment strategies, and goal tracking that doesn't require constant willpower.

This is where the heavy lifting happens. You're building new habits while unlearning old ones. Some weeks will feel harder than others.

Key Learning: Systems beat motivation every time. When it's automatic, you don't have to think about it.
3

Growth & Refinement

Final months are about optimization and planning ahead. You're adjusting systems based on what you've learned, setting longer-term goals, and building confidence in your financial decisions.

This is also when we cover investment basics, tax strategies, and wealth-building concepts that now make sense because you've got solid foundations.

Key Learning: Financial skills compound over time. Small improvements add up to significant changes.
